That's because he had gutless "Republicans" pulling the rug out from under him in Congress.

President Paul would have a Congress at least as hostile to him as the ones he has been in. None of his platform would pass, except his surrender to Islamofascism (thanks to treasonous Demonrats). For all practical purposes, Ron Paul would be a "Republican" Kucinich. I think he implicitly acknowledges that, because his maniacal screech escalates in volume and pitch when he moves to his antiwar rhetoric from his small-govt. talking points.

President Paul would have a mandate. Congress would be forced to take up some of his issues, or else find new employment two years down the road.
