The New Hampshire Republican Party announced Saturday that it will no longer support a Republican candidates forum scheduled for Sunday on FOX.
Party officials decided to withdraw as co-sponsers after candidates California Rep. Duncan Hunter and Texas Rep. Ron Paulwere left uninvited.
Hunter posted only tiny percentage in Iowa disqualifying him under the criteria set by FOX, but remains in the race.
Having never received an initial invitation, Pauls capture of 10% in Iowa Thursday, still did not convince organizers to allow his participation.
New Hampshire Republican Party Chairman Fergus Cullen released a statement Saturday making the separation official.
The first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary serves a national purpose by giving all candidates an equal opportunity on a level playing field. Only in New Hampshire do lesser known, lesser funded underdogs have a fighting chance to establish themselves as national figures. Consistent with that tradition, we believe all recognized major candidates should have an equal opportunity to participate in pre-primary debates and forums, wrote Cullen.
This principle applies to tonights debates on ABC as well as Sundays planned forum on FOX. The New Hampshire Republican Party believes Congressmen Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter should be included in the FOX forum on Sunday evening. Our mutual efforts to resolve this difference have failed, he continued.
While we understand that FOX News continues to move forward it is with regret, the New Hampshire Republican Party hereby withdraws as a partner in this forum.

Hunter ping.
Good for them!
Good for them, is exactly my thoughts. I won’t be watching.
Watching what? LOL
This is what I asked on the thread about this yesterday. Where’s the Republican Party? Shouldn’t they have some input?
Good to see an answer. Maybe they can work it out and have the debate with Hunter and Paul.
You can argue that at some point the bottom candidates should be cut from the debates, but it should not be decided by the media alone.
Fox Sucks. They are lap dogs for Republican control freaks. It backfires real bad with people who are not sheeple.
I still think Hunter should go down the to fence on Sunday and get a photo/video op of him helping to build the fence, and saying "While others are off debating or whining about not being included in a debate, I'm here doing the work other candidates won't do!"

I keep saying that the GOP plantation is going to get mighty lonely.

Bilderbergers own media-—Rupert Murdoch is part of Bilderbergers, so I heard.
Paul, Hunter were not chosen by the elitist-therefore, We the People get to pick from the candidates chosen from Bilderbergers selection.
Or so it seems!
Fox got plenty of complaints. Fair and Balanced my hind end!
Good !
Can you hear me now.
If the others had any balls, and I include my man Fred in this, they would all say “We support the NH Republican Party stance and will not debate unless all candidates are allowed in”
‘Bout time some conservative group bitch-slapped FOX.
With the NFL playoffs in full swing...nobody will be watching this anyway.
Thanks for the ping! Screw the kingmakers at Fox News.
Money doesn’t make the man, or campaign flyers, or spin meisters. In his own way, Duncan Hunter is redefining this campaign. He is taking it back to the days when Ronald Reagan overcame the odds and became POTUS. We need such a victory again, now in this time of the two second attention span. People don’t know how to listen anymore. They see the flashy campaigns and they think that’s all there is.
Nobody in this campaign talks about Iraq. The good news is buried by the MSM. They do the same thing to Hunter and offer up millions in free publicity for the Huckster, a man that my dead grandmother could whip in a fight. Enough with the glitz and the endless talking. We need a leader, and that is Duncan Hunter.
