I love animals too much to name one after a freaking monster that doesn’t deserve respect. I wouldn’t name a pet Satan or Lucifer for the same reason. Just different names describing the same being - EVIL.

Our neighbors named their little dog ‘satan’ after she started biting children without warning or provocation. She was originally named ‘angel.’
Mohammad would be an appropriate name for a dog that tried to mount children.
