Hallo there Drew68, not to be a sort of troll like naysayer but..... Yes, you are right in your statement about any governmental officials. Sure thing and I sadly chuckled when it was stated a governmental source got a glad hander usual suspect, a Canadian woman involved in things Canadian. Briefly knowing how to kowtow to "new" and exotic cultures. Hired her. We in Canada know this type of bureaucrat.
It is numbers however. I got that initially 1100 Somali came to Lewiston, from Georgia. The authorities there cut back of welfare payments. The astute Somalis figured out that welfare low claims Maine would be more amenable. The poor mayor got in hot water, because this decent man pleaded with the "Somali community" in Georgia not to overload Lewiston.
The usual suspects called him a "racist". Ok, that being said, I took the liberty of contacting SheLion. Perhaps she can update us on the numbers. I pray not, repeat not, 20,000. (laughs).
The worst problem they had previous was the Sonny Liston/Ali fight. A one round fiasco.
