I hope not, or states will be scheduling their next primary for September of 2011.


I agree but the speculations was that the nominee wouldn’t want to tick off a state GOP group and thus would call for them to be seated. But we do need some enforcement of this primary season gone wild, imo. These states agreed to the rules when they were adopted and then decided they could do as they pleased. Not sure what the answer is but some type structure is needed to help stop what has occurred this time. jmo.

IMHO the trend indicates all 50 states eventually holding their primary on the same day. FYI I prefer meaningful primary seasons culminating in truly political conventions over slick marketing campaigns leading to infomercial coronations.
