Next thing will be to run somebody against her in 2010 and knock her out of the Senate. It is doable. I am fairly sure that is impossible.Yes, she certainly could have that seat for life, but I'm quite sure that she has no interest in the Senate.
Unlike Teddy, who was authoring nation-transforming legislation within 2 years of his coronation, she doesn't legislate or advocate.
Her Senate seat was merely a platform for this absurdly bad campaign she is running.
If she loses to Obama, and if he doesn't give her a job (which would be foolishness of cosmic degree), I expect she will either resign or not run again.
