I doubt she’ll run again for her senate seat. She doesn’t want to be a senator—it has been her stepping stone to the presidentcy. She will retire and they will divorce—is my prediction. I don’t know about the divorce—it’s a convenience for both of them in many respects; in no way a real marriage.
They’ll stay together because it gives them so much cover, and she would lose her secret service protection, maybe? That has to have a lot of perks.
Besides, if they married anyone else, who would be willing to have such an open and forgiving marriage as the one they have now?
