What freaking change? Why cant they elaborate on that? Why is change automatically good? I cant remember the rhetoric being so shallow as it is now, from the candidates
In 04, Kerry campaigned on the theme of 'a different direction'. He never specified what that different direction was or what/where it would lead. But he was always advocating 'a different direction'.
[They are meaningless rhetorical catch-phrases that sound good. And it isn't much different than the many candidates suddenly embracing the catch-phrase 'secure the border'. Notice that few go on to explain how or what they would do to 'secure the border'.]

If Hillary actually loses the nomination, her entire reason for being in the Senate vanishes. It was only to serve as a stepping stone until such time she’d go back to the WH. I’d expect her not to run for another term or perhaps resign before 2010.
Exactly what happened to Geraldine Ferraro.

I would not want to be standing next to her when she loses the nomination. You certainly would not want to be near a federal park.
To: Berosus
Her next Senate election is 2012, not 2010. 2010 is our next chance to get rid of Harry Reid.
There were rumors afloat even before her presidential run began a year ago that, if she did run for president and lost, she would then try to take over the Senate Leader position from Reid.

I can't believe I am even thinking this, but is anyone else getting the scary feeling that Obama may not make it to the fall to get the nomination. How fortuitous it would be for Hillary if some tragedy were to befall Obama and she were to have to sadly step in and pick up the mantle.I have thought the same thing, only sometime ago. Given all the "accidents, sudden heart attacks, suicides" surrounding the Clintons, it wouldn't surprise me a bit ... unfortunately.

Kerry ran on change and when confronted he said he couldn't
say until after he won the office. Snake oil anyone?

So be it. Hillery is a known entity. Obama is not shrill and his darling wife will be raising the girls. The big plus, no Bill in the white house or supreme court. Anybody want to take a chance on that? :)As long as Obama/Clinton isn't The Ticket!
If she's done in 2008, I'm just fine with that!!

Even a simple song comes to mind...hehehe
If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands!
If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands!
If you’re happy and you know it,
Then your face will surely show it.
If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands!
If you’re happy and you know it, stamp your feet!
If you’re happy and you know it, stamp your feet!
If you’re happy and you know it,
Then your face will surely show it.
If you’re happy and you know it, stamp your feet!
If you’re happy and you know it, shout Hooray!
If you’re happy and you know it, shout Hooray!
If you’re happy and you know it,
Then your face will surely show it.
If you’re happy and you know it, shout Hooray!
If you’re happy and you know it, do all three!
If you’re happy and you know it, do all three!
If you’re happy and you know it,
Then your face will surely show it.
If you’re happy and you know it, do all three!

The first time was when she said she has always and will continue to work for "change for you.I first mis-read this as she will work "TO change for you." Which seemed to be what she's attempting all along without much success. Same ol' Hillary.

That’s what I don’t get. Just “Change?” What kind of change? Are they just going to click their heels and the world will become a better place? “Change” is not a plan. Change is something that has to be fought for, and implemented. And change just for the sake of change is always, always always a bad thing. The only thing Obama could actually accomplish as president, other than surrendering to all of our enemies, would be to place even bigger liberals on the court than Hillary would.

If Hillary is claiming qualifications due to her closeness to the president, shouldn’t we be voting for Monica Lewinski as have even more experieence, since she was at least as close to him? I think she gave BJ more feedback that Hillary ever did. Just sayin’...

Unbelievable that the editors of Time -- even on a blog -- would allow the misspelling of bellwether. LOL
The origin is from the practice of having a 'wether' - a castrated male sheep, with a bell, lead the flock -
