Am I reading it wrong? To me it reads, as if ABC has cherry picked 4 candidates, they have supplemented them through donations and now are supplying a national forum to showcase those they have Donated too.

It sounds like he's accusing ABC of having made cash donations to them separate from the debate issue. That would very clearly be a federal crime, as corporations are explicitly banned from donating to candidates under any circumstances.

In Foxnews’ case, they are just shilling for their boy. Someone should file an FEC complaint aginst them for making undisclosed in-kind contributions. I hear it only costs about $80. It would be easy to prove. They could just DNA sample the brown spot on Hannity’s nose.
