Any “lessons” to be drawn from last night apply to Iowa and maybe a Minnesota and Wisconsin. Drawing larger conclusions based on the currently observed data is wholly unwarranted

Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin have strong liberal ends -- but they also have their strong conservative ends -- especially social conservatives.

Iowa...is...not...leftist. Except for Iowa City of course. It’s populist, both on the Democrat and Republican side, and relatively conservative on both sides too.
