Fred Thompson did not ask for Dobson's attack and should not be expected to grovel to him.
The name of Christ should not be wielded like a club to exert or gain personal power. Fred Thompson has been the adult in this relationship. Dobson has gone down several notches in my book.

***It was a leaked internal email, wasn’t it? More like a mistake than an attack. An attack is more overt.
It’s not what he should be expected to do. It’s what he should do if he wants to get Dobson’s endorsement, and therefore steal a good number of evangelical conservatives from Huckabee.
It’s the leg of the stool that Thompson is missing, and he can try to sit on a stool with two legs, or he can fix the stool. It’s his choice — nobody is MAKING him do anything, but we assume he actually WANTS to be president.
