I’d say the same thing to Dobson in the same situation and I AM an evangelical.
Thompson is asking for the evangelical vote, not you. He seems to want to separate himself from the evie crowd, which is his prerogative. Hunter doesn’t want to, he is openly evangelical, just like Huckabee. And Hunter is more socially conservative than Thompson, about the same as Huckabee on that score.
