He will totally disavow Huckabee - and declare him to be a disaster in the making.
The GOP establishment knows that the Huckster won't be the nominee. The suits were all over the news shows this morning telling everyone who will listen.
But - the suits, the MSM, and even FoxNews are trying to sell us McInsane instead.
And they will continue to try and sell us Mr. Gang of 14, Mr. Open Immigration, and Mr. Finance "Reform" that brought us MoveOn.org and the rest of these disasterous organizations with unlimited money and power.
No thanks.
Who then will the GOP have for a nominee? Thanks for your response.
Rush can’t stand McCain.
Now, I have to go back to work on my New Hampshire debate opening speech. And I worked on it until pretty late last night. But I want to say one thing to the American people. I want you to listen to me. I’m going to say this again. I did not raise taxes in that state, Arkansas. I never told anybody to harbor illegals, not a single time; never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the American people.
Huckabee is running on the Republican ticket but he is NOT a Conservative period !!!
just because McCain isn’t the answer doesn’t mean Huckabee is. People have to get beyond Huckabee being pro life and look at his background as governor. It’s chock full of ethics complaints, tax hikes, him being soft on crime, and soft on illegals. Conservatism doesn’t only have one principle (being pro life) there are several more facets to it. Huckabee doesn’t meet them.
The MSM is going to beat on the Huckster like a drum. He is a conservative?Christian and you know how they love them.
Huckabee is also using Rush in order to keep his name in the news. Come on Fred heads and Duncan heads, start calling into the show.
I’m not convinced that Huckabee is the one. He has too many liabilities. I hope I’m wrong. If he is the nominee I’ll support him, but I’m not sold on him yet for the nomination.
The Huckster from Hope has that nasty, wild-eyed look going on. I don’t trust him any more than I trusted that other shyster politician from Arkansas. No thanks.
Look - the suits of the Republican party said he would not win Iowa. They think they know best, but the truth is, it is in the voters hands going forward. If Gov. Huckabee cannot convince enough fiscal and foreign policy conservatives that he is not who the establishment is sayin he is, he will not get the nomination. However, I would not “misunderestimate” his ability to do just that in the coming weeks.
the powers that be (the money people) want Romney. I have no doubt about that
He is not a “conservative,” but he is a Republican.
And, judging by some of his recent comments, he is either disingenuous or stupid.
But, he could still be a Christian.
LOL, please candidates are elected by V O T E R S, that’s right, voters elect our nominee.
Huck is RUNNING as a Christian economic populist, he believes in nannie state gov, wants to ban smoking all together ect, he has said these things, he is RUNNING on “working with the Dims”, and on “bipartisanship”, he uses the parlance of liberals while RUNNING his campaign.
This is not the fault of Rush, suits, Fox, or “the elites”.
If the GOP were sane - Fred Thompson.
However, I don't know if the GOP will regain its sanity in time.
What lying POS. Huckster makes me gag.
"I am too a conservative!"
LOL, Rush has you figured out Huckster.
He must have a picture of Chuck Norris getting beat up. Why else would Chuck support him?
Huckster is not any less conservative than McCain, Giuliani or Romney.....which really sucks for folks like us.
I wish Rush would just come out for Fred and get it over with.
I’m not sure where this ends up.....had Fred done 4th he’d be over.
I wish he’d done better than 13% but he can still do this if he really digs in.
