That is interesting, although the number of delegate being discussed is such a small number. However, if Huckabee ends up needing 15 delegates for a majority, he might kick himself if the delegates from Iowa don’t vote per the split.

I think CNN showed that in their projected distribution he’d end up with 17 out of the 40 delegates, with Romney getting 12 and Thompson and McCain each getting 3.

So if winning outright didn’t give Huckabee the delegates, how does he acquire them? I’m no fan of Huckabee, but they probably should be his by right. He did win after all.
