Initially I would have agreed with you that he can at least be stomached. Not now. Have you seen him speak lately? When hes not seeming to chide the audience and country hes talking about himself like hes getting measured to be added to Mt. Rushmore.
I tuned them all out for the most part - IMHO, Iowa is way overhyped, and I've really burned out on listening to anyone except the last half hour or so of Brit Hume. Our own primary is way late, well past time to make any difference. I have overheard him in the background occasionally though, and you do have a point. He's sounding more and more like Jesse & friends preaching to the crowd with the intonation of southern preachers. Which is curious considering nobody at Punahou talks like that.
