Are you prepared for Mike Huckabee to lose the primaries?
Where have you been the past 7 years?
Mike Huckabee is pro-life liberal.
It’s surprising so many people on FR are in favor of someone so liberal.
I saw it.
My perception is Rollins is a sort of jack ass.
But, he has a job to do.
I couldn't agree more - how many times have we been told to vote for 'half a loaf' Pubbies. Now we have a candidate who's pro-family, pro-worker, and pro-life, and half the GOP is running away.
I'm taking a page from Rush here with this prediction, Rush is going to abandon the GOP and support Bloomberg - mark my words ...
” Rove is not a whore. “
I live in Palm Beach where Bush has spent a great deal of time, especially on the island here raising funds.
I am close to someone who knows Bush & Rove and can tell you that - despite the media trying to cast Huck as a Bush basher, Bush AND Rove are pulling for Huck.
They need the - distance- for the race. I really don’t expect you folks to believe me - but it is none the less true.
Huckabee is a huckster, a lier, a "Carter", and certainly NOT a conservative. And if he ends up being the GOP nominee, we should brace ourselves for at least the next four years of Hillary socialist regime.
I am SO grateful that my fellow freepers here see the shamnesty of that Huckster.
“I am close to someone who knows Bush & Rove and can tell you that - despite the media trying to cast Huck as a Bush basher, Bush AND Rove are pulling for Huck”
Horsecrap.
The bulbs. Don't forget the bulbs...
I am fully aware of Rollins’ history. Still, when it comes to running a campaign ground game and PR ‘miracles,’ Rollins is masterful. Whether Huckabee’s success continues is anybody’s guess, and I for one hope it does not, I can guarantee you that Ed Rollins has a fair amount to do with the fact that Huckabee “came out of nowhere” to take Iowa as strongly as he did.
Despite the fact Ed Rollins danced with Perot and is known to talk a little too much, the man knows how to play.

Having a strong economy and a good environment for business is how you help workers, not knee jerk demonization of business and demagogic class warfare hate speech a la John Edwards.
If Ed Rollins is your new hero, I feel bad for you.
Tagline, thanks.
I like some of Henry Rollins stuff.
Liar
you think you`re gonna to live your life alone
in darkness
and seclusion
yeah I know
you`ve been out there
tried to mix with those animals
and it just left you full of humiliated confusion
so you stagger back home
and wait for nothing
but the solitary refinement of your room spits you back out onto the street
and now you`re desperate
and in need of human contact
and then
you meet me
and you whole world changes
because everything I say is everything you`ve ever wanted to hear
so you drop all your defenses and you drop all your fears
and you trust me completely
I`m perfect
in every way
cause I make you feel so strong and so powerful inside
you feel so lucky
but your ego obscures reality
and you never bother to wonder why
things are going so well
you wanna know why?
cause I`m a liar
yeah I`m a liar
I`ll tear your mind out
I`ll burn your soul
I`ll turn you into me
I`ll turn you into me
cause I`m a liar, a liar
a liar, a liar
I think Henry wrote the song for politicians.
The Huck stops here.
“The treatment Fox News and “conservative” celebrities like Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham & Sean Hannity have given to Mike Huckabee is deserving of shame and infamy.”
Any one of those three people you mention are more a conservative than Mike Huckabee has ever been or ever will be.
You have to see the bigger picture regarding what Wallace did.
Huckabee surged on being "likeable" in a state that prides itself on being first in a caucus process that emphasizes personal contact with the candidates. That's why Huckabee seems to have settled on a slogan of "I Like [M]Ike." However, with Rollins as his manager, and with states with different perspectives coming up (like South Carolina -- what did Rollins say in the Wallace interview, that South Carolina was a more "negative" state?), then it is news to know that the plan was to be nice and likeable in Iowa to solidify the bump in the polls, enough to be a little less likeable in South Carolina where the negativity won't matter as much with Iowa already in the bank.
That was the point of the Carpenter post (even if you don't like her methods), and that was the point of the Wallace interview.

Huckabee's people (you, Mr Arbitrage) are speaking in a vanity post.
A few weeks ago, Hugh Hewitt had a sage observation. If Huckabee gets the nod, the GOP will lose all 50 states in the national election.
All 50!
Is that perhaps what you mean by making "history"?
