My sisters used to give me directions to their homes by landmarks. "Go x miles past the airport, turn right at the big building," etc. When I finally reached their homes (plus saving about forty miles in backtracking distances), they were amazed that I could simply follow the highway and street signs on a road map to get their residences.

One of the funniest episodes of my life was watching lesbian activists disrupt a male homosexual speaker who was arguing that homosexuality was genetically inherited. The lesbians were incensed, as they were quite adamant that they had chosen their sexual preference (presumably because men are slime).
