This character is full of beans. When I visited Israel (this was when Israel controlled the area, not the P.A.), Bethlehem was a thriving place, business was booming, we had free and safe access to Manger Square and the Church of the Nativity, we knew that the Israeli soldiers were there to ensure our safety (just like elsewhere in Israel). And the local non-Jewish population didn’t seem to be suffering one bit, in fact, they seemed to be doing quite well for themselves. But as I said, this was back before Bethlehem and the surrounding areas were turned over to the P.A., which promptly ruined it, turning it in to a terrorist pesthole, necessitating the IDF to have to take appropriate measures.
Kenneth Woodward can kindly go and kiss my Dixie tailpipe.
Let’s see... Kenneth Woodward checklist... checkpoints are the moral equivalent of raining missiles down on women and children and the elderly.
