Im a conservative evangelical. I think Huckabee is a disgrace, and brings shame on Christianity.
Why do you think so many evangelicals are supporting him? Is it because they don't really know who he is yet or do they know, but don't care because his being Christian is more important than his stance on the issues?

I think they look at the surface veneer and don’t dig further.
They forget that Clinton carried a big ol’ Bible into church right before he did...other things.

Why do you think so many evangelicals are supporting him? Because they are confident that we are in a culture war, and that Huckabee is on their side.
They're voting the candidate -- as most voters do -- rather than a laundry list of issues.
