IF Huckabee wins decisively and continues to roll into S.Carolina, etc. then Rush is going to looks stupid and out of touch with a large segment of his audience. If he doesn’t backtrack, it will hurt him in ratings. People will stop listening.
It isn’t a matter of “right or wrong”, it is a matter of denigrating a person that is well liked. He should have just stuck with endorsing Fred, not dissing Mike.
Which the Huckabee camp did to Rush, using typical statements right out of the Democrat playbook. Rush responded, and well, I might add.
A Huckabee win in Iowa will not hurt Rush in any way. A Huckabee win in Iowa is nowhere near as significant as you seem to imply.
I just don’t see how saying “yeah, he’s your guy, that’s fine, but he’s not conservative” is “dissing” him.
Perhaps Rush is to the point where if a few Huckabee fans stop listening because Rush dares to say the religious populist named Huckabee isn’t a conservative, then so be it.
He doesn't have a real job these days so as long as he gets free air time, and can walk into crowd, he will stay the course.
