I agree, not because I'm a bigot, but because a Christian has a God centered worldview. That helps me understand the basis for a Christian candidate's reasoning on current and future issues. On issues of the most critical importance, like abortion, we can trust a Christian's reasoning because we know that he knows that he has to answer to God. We can also make an appeal to a Christian magistrate, who may be wrong, on issues like security, immigration or taxes, on a biblical basis and know that the Christian, if he is a true Christian, must take heed.
Jesus Christ, on "identity politics":
Mark 8:38
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
Luke 9:26
For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

Well, good to see (and hear from) another Christian who understand the issue at hand. It’s not that Christians are ignorant of the other political matters, but it’s just putting first what must be first, and then the other things come after that.
I suspect that you’ll find a lot of Evangelical voters the same way, even if they don’t want to talk about it.
Just because I’m talking about it (and being a “loudmouth” about it, too... LOL) doesn’t mean that I’m the only one thinking that way — among the Evangelicals.
I hope certain segments of the GOP is getting this idea right — or else — these other elements of the GOP are going to have a *trainwreck* of a party to attend to — one that will never amount to anything ever again...
