IMHO, McCain is getting the “I like Fred Thompson, but he can’t win because the MSM says so vote”.
I agree. And that particulary nasty rumor that I heard repeated ALL DAY today about him dropping out, even AFTER he very publicly and firmly denied it, probably just enforced that.
Pisses me off.
