It would have been fun to speak for Hunter in that environment...

Thanks, AGP. This was a first for me, so I didn't know what to expect.

Yes, I was disappointed he had no one, the only one IIRC. Thompson had a good supporter. I could have taken better notes, but had gotten there early and wanted to get to store & home, cold but not too terrible. I could be wrong, but I think most came in with their minds made up. I was weak on Thompson and Hunter, but the speakers didn't come up with much of anything I hadn't read here and glossed over the negatives I knew about.

They did take a life vote in my precinct. 100% ayes for life! No nays! Also a smoking ban like other states, I smoke but quit anywhere in public quite awhile ago, but finally they had to have people stand ayes and nays so they could count more accurately. They said no to government intervention and restaurant owners should be able to decide themselves who gets to smoke and who doesn't. They voted against making any law banning smoking in certain places even though most were mostly nonsmokers themselves.

Anyway, here I am thinking I am on top of things, waiting for the rest of the state to come in and well, they're mostly in and all you Freepers have been watching channels I can't get and reporting it! Amazing!

If this keeps up and Obama keeps his momentum, we'll have to take another look at our side . . . .or will we? A friend in the south who is not evangel thinks Obama cannot carry the country because of his race, and he is not racist personally. He said the evangels & Baptists in south will never vote for him.

I did vote for Romney, but knew this was only a caucus and can go with almost anybody else who can beat the Dems.
