I wouldn’t consider myself a Paul “bot” but I’ve been pretty insistant that he would get less than 5% in a state where the Republicans go for evangelicals like Robertson and W, and all the youth and anti-war indy voters would go caucus with the Dems. The actual “Paulbots” called me quite a few names.
Frankly I’m beyond shocked he’s getting around 10% in what we all knew would be the equivalent of a Wednesday night church service. I was thinking I’d have to wait until New Hampshire to see Paul have a chance at double digits.
I have to say I’m very, very happy with 10% in Iowa, in a caucus. Makes me happy I spent extra to get the really nice Paul bumper sticker for my Jeep Liberty.
