the 25,000 people who voted for the huckster were not among the 14 MILLION who listened to Rush each day, yesterday and today.

Keep in mind... Rush does not air live in Iowa. They think farm shows are more important there.

Ok, so all the GOP votes add up to roughly 70,000 voters (give or take 10,000). But the Dems don’t surpass 3000. Is there a reason, or am I reading the numbers wrong??

Well I hope you’re right because Rush has certainly spent the last two days lambasting Huckabe.

Not that I blame Rush and he didn’t say anything about Huck that wasn’t true. While Rush said he wouldn’t endorse a candidate in the primary, that didn’t keep him from criticizing them. He’s been all over Huck and McCain these last two days but hey, Rush was right in everything he said.

I even recall, today, a tidbit. Rush said something about not endorsing primary candidates and evidently his staff was laughing. Then Rush repeated what his staff was evidently giggling about...something about “you don’t endorse but you’ll sink primary candidates”. As I understood it, Rush’s staff thought he was going after Huck and I agree. His staff evidently thought Rush would sink Huck.

I kept wondering why Huckabe was so cavalier about Rush’s negative commentary about him. Huck said his staff couldn’t get a hold of Rush, then he said he didn’t know what someone on his staff said that had Rush so in a tiff. I thought it was a bit audacious of Huck to be so dismissive of Rush Limbaugh, a very influential conservative.

Now I see why Huck didn’t care what the hell Rush said. He knew he was going to carry Iowa, even his loser campaign chair, Ed Rollins knew it. In fact, I think that what Huck’s campaign staff said about Rush, I think they said and I think they meant it. If you recall, someone on Huck’s campaign told someboy that Rush Limbaugh was an inside=the=beltway pundit, an entertainer, a mouthpiece for the GOP. Damn....now I understand that this is EXACTLY what the Huck staff wanted those Iowan evangelicals to think. Most of them probably believed it@

Anyway, I’m kind of disappointed because it’s just been so obvious that Rush has been going after Huck. yeah, I know he was sitting in his booth minding his own business when some Huckabee feller called but don’t his staff screen the calls? Well they let the Huck call through and this was intentional because I truly think Limbaugh dislikes Huckabee intently. McCain as well. He’s been going after McCain these past few days.

If Rush was sinking anybody, it sure wasn’t Huckabee. At least in Iowa.

This might reduce Rush’s credibility in some eyes.
