I thought the time was right to start up a live thread for results and comments about tonight, so here we are!
That’s a pretty astute observation.
Good point. (Though I’m not for chain migration either!)
“County Caucus Results Will Be Available on www.IowaGOP.net
GOP Will Post Real Time Results Thursday
By Craig Robinson, Republican Party of Iowa Political Director
As presidential preference polls are conducted around the state, the Iowa GOP will post real time results on our website, www.iowagop.net.
As each precinct announces their results to their participants, those totals will be called into our automated system. We will post that information immediately on our website by county and transmit it to the Associated Press for dissemination.
The entire process was designed to promote complete transparency. At the conclusion of the evening, the Iowa GOP will post precinct by precinct results as well.
In addition to these efforts, we have also forged a first-of-its-kind partnership with Google. Results will be sent to Google and they will be posted on Google Maps. By clicking on an Iowa county, you will be able to see the results as reported.
As part of their new political program, Google has established a huge presence in Des Moines. We want to give Americans, and people around the world, a front row seat at this first-in-the-nation event, observed Ginny Hunt, Google Election Program Manager.
As a company, Google is committed to making information more accessible using the best technology available. In addition to posting results from both parties on the Google Map feature, we will be gathering citizen-generated videos from the campaign trail and Caucus sites in a partnership with YouTube and The Des Moines Register, Hunt explained. Google News now has an Election News section where you will see the latest coverage from across Iowa, as well as an election gadget where headlines, videos and a candidate tracker can be seen in one place.
The Republican Party of Iowa maintains the highest level commitment to the most accurate, timely reporting of Caucus results possible. The procedures in place for Thursday evening have been tested and we are confident in the process. “

He doesn't have a real job these days so as long as he gets free air time, and can walk into crowd, he will stay the course.
We need serious pest control.

After almost 20 years being around his audience is there because they agree with his outlook. So when Rush speaks he is saying what most of his 20,000,000 member audience is thinking.
It good the Huckabees love their guy, but they should not let their love for their candidate blind them to reality. To win the Presidency you have to build a coalition of interests. Just having this or that interest supporting your candidate is not enough.
Rush speaks for a goodly portion of the Conservative movement. The Huckabees should be reaching out to, not trashing, the Rush fans if they want to win.
Screaming insults and bile at Rush, and by extension his audience, for asking tough questions of Huckabee is the utterly the wrong tactic to take.
You are correct, I will stand corrected.
Abortion - Right
Gay Agenda - Right
Guns - Right
WOT - WRONG
Taxes - WRONG
Border Control/Immigration - WRONG
Role of Government - WRONG
Spending - WRONG
Foreign Policy - WRONG
Federalism - WRONG
There’s a ten-question test. Huckabee gets about a 30% which, last time I was in school, was an “F.”
Fred Thompson, BTW, gets 100% on this same test.
Neither am I.
Ellery, is this one of those deceptive immigration votes?
MSM response if Huckster wins:
“IOWA HAS SPOKEN! REPUBLICAN NOMINATION SECURED”
MSM response if Hillary loses:
“IOWA NOT THAT IMPORTANT”
I don't. I do, however, wish to not have those that think that simply BEING religious makes one a conservative, even if they're wrong on EVERY OTHER ISSUE. That's the problem we have with Huckabee, it's the incorrect notion that simply by virtue of being a Christian, that it automatically qualifies one as a Christian CONSERVATIVE. There are a lot of conservative Christians, but there are also a lot of liberal ones (Huck.)
I’m loathe to make predictions, but for some reason I’m doing it anyway:
Slick Willard
Huckabee
Freddie Baby
Obama
Hillary
Edwards
Err, Hawkeyes?
Keep your lies and half-truths out of this thread.
Everyone knows Mitt did NOTHING about the sanctuary cities right under his nose, and didn't authorize the State Police until the LAST MONTH of his single term -- and that move was never even put into effect before the next governor revoked it.
You Mitt-worshipers sicken me.
OTOH, Gilchrist strikes me as simply not very bright.
Go FRED!
