Fred is WAY too close to McCain - 100 votes. Ugh.
I also find myself more likely to watch CNN than FoxNews. I hope their ratings tank.
Why are they giving three minutes to that Shyster Edwards!?
Did Obama get the record 150k turn out they were expecting? If not, then don’t expect any of the kids to vote when it comes to election day. They love the attention of the parties, but when it comes to taking out the garbage, they have to be threatened. :)
Well listening to Elizabeth Edwards introduce the ‘second place winner’ in Iowa who was outspent by $$ by the frontrunner and the next President of the US John Edwards. Eegards he thinks he won this.
“...So this little stretch-marked cornpone is either lying, has a closed head injury, is a complete ignoramus — or all of the above.”
Only Ann could say “stretch-marked cornpone”. Too funny.
So which is it? Are you a political fool or a political fraud?
His head bobs from side to side, but the hair stays still.
They are a political party that has to attract enough votes to garner a majority. FR is a lot more conservative than America and forgot that.
When so many here decided GWB was not conservative enough, it was telling. 50% of the nation already hated him for being so conservative.
Tonight was a reality check. At least Hillary got the snot beaten out of her! See ya on the NH thread.
I know. I switched to CNN but had to come back to verify it was as bad as I thought.
Hannity has been told to ignore the conservative, I’d love to call his radio show tomorrow and let him have it.
BTW: Rudy who?
You should have been on that other thread I was on yesterday (or was it the day before). I went through all that stuff. You can probably still go back there and cover all the comments if you want.
The shortened version of it is simply that the *first criteria* that I have for elimination of a candidate is that he has to be a Christian. I said that on a Thompson thread, since I listened to Thompson’s statement about his faith and determined that he doesn’t know what a Christian is (and neither the Gospel) and therefore cannot have become a Christian. So, I wasn’t voting for Thompson on that basis.
And then I said that all the other political matters come after that first criteria.

And then, I also commented on Carter (as someone asked the same thing, almost). I say that I don’t vote for any Democrats. Carter would be eliminated right there.
As far as Reagan, I would vote for him for sure.
And “that’s the way it is” on this fine night in Iowa...

Huckabee Chairman Ed Rollins Trashes Romney
Posted by: Jonathan Garthwaite at 4:52 PM
Amanda Carpenter files this report from the ground in Iowa:
At a hole-in-the wall Des Moines eatery, Mike Huckabees campaign chairman loudly bashed their top rival presidential candidate Mitt Romney and made several predictions to two national television reporters.
I overheard Rollins conversation while dining in a restaurant called Winstons located close to Huckabees Iowa headquarters and took notes on my computer. Below is a compilation of what I heard:
Stay tuned to the Townhall blog for continuing coverage of the Iowa Caucus tonight and Friday.
I'm 95% sure now that I will pull a RAT ballot next Tuesday to vote for Obama.
Anything I can do to make the wheels fall off soon will be well worth it...
Did you know there were Two Americas? An America filled with people with Perfect Hair, and an America that cleans the houses of the people with Perfect Hair?
Correction...his diddy worked in a meel....:-)
L0L ! no.
Hugh is trying to ignore Mitts poor performance
Edwards has that cake makeup job running into his eyes LOL!
OMG -- earlier this week and even today it was Fred won't do good because HE HASN'T CAMPAIGNED!!!! Now that he has done better % wise than all of those saying that were predicting it is YEAH BUT LOOK HOW MUCH HE CAMPAIGNED!!!!!!
UnF*CKINGBELIEVABLE
And Ohio State scored on the opening kickoff in last year's BCS Championship Game.
Affluent part of town but other towns close by a little moreso, pockets of it in other parts.
My precinct 49 McCain, 44 Romney, 40 Huckabee The other precinct in the same hall, 53 Romney, 39 McCain,, 21 Huckabee, 24 Giuliani. Couple abstainers. Didn't get the rest. Paul got 20 on one side, Thompson didn't do well, no one even spoke for Hunter. Total of the two precincts, 97 Romney, 88 McCain, 61 Huckabee. I neglected to jot down Guiliani on my side, so maybe added with the other side he took 3rd.
Stopped at the store and sounds like Obama was cleaning up at my regular polling place which Dems got tonight, I guess it was packed and should have had traffic control which was disheartening, was told Republicans got good crowds all over.
Anyway, sounds like Obama is cleaning up here. News at 10. We'll see how Des Moines and rest of state stacks up when we get them.
Now I'll back track and see what else is being reported.
