Those were heady days on Free Republic: chasing down pardons, missing “w”s, Hillary’s “wedding registry” for her news house(s), silverware theft, etc. The photoshops of the moving vans leaving the White House...that morphed into the Beverly Hillbillies. LOL!
I think I laughed for 2 months at all those threads when the Toons left the White House.

It is amazing if you had been listening to the news.
Thompson should have registered lower numbers than rocks.

And there is a group of fanatic social conservative haters in the Republican party that year after year after year try to convince themselves that the social conservatives are no longer viable and needed in the Republican party.

Why not go with the facts? Why not go with the facts that Ron Paul is not above single digits in any national poll and has NO shot of ever being President of the USA?

Bill will try to calm her down by reminding her that he only got 3% of the vote in Iowa in '92 and still ended up being a two term President. She'll probably throw an iron from the hotel closet at him.Are you kidding? Those two haven't shared a hotel room in probably 20 years!!!

Iowa wasn’t Ron Paul’s area. If he reaches 7+%, it’s actually quite amazing. He’s at 10% now. New Hampshire is where Paul is more in his element. He’ll do very well next week and there is now no way that he can be treated like Duncan Hunter in the debates.

Said I similarly about attacks on Mr. Huckabee. The political dynamics of "Chinese Handcuffs" apply to Mr. Huckabee.
The more "punditry" (which at this date includes FR) attacks Mike, the more people are drawn to him.

I truly believe she is trying to figure out a way she can ‘have it done’, au natural, of course. Obama needs to watch his back - and the precinct chairmen need to watch their computers.
FNC - just said “Hillary needs a personality transplant.”
I love it!

Of firsthand reports from FReepers, 3 precincts for Mitt, 1 for Huck.

Something went screwy with Giuliani's numbers and now he's back down to less than 4%.
John is now closing in on Fred for third.

Hard to believe the solidly pro-life, pro-gun, pro-family, tax reforming Governor who supported FreeRepublic more than any other elected official in history Who is this mythical person?

The only ones making this kind of argument on a night like this — are the ones whose candidates lost... LOL

25 to Paul,
Either you have a lot of local pot smokers, or Democrats who voted.
