MKs Slam Rabbi Wolpe (Israel)

(IsraelNN.com) Members of Knesset and ministers slammed Rabbi Shalom Dov Wolpe on Thursday following Wolpe’s harsh criticism of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert during an “SOS Israel” session on Tuesday. During the session Rabbi Wolpe called Olmert a traitor, and accused Olmert his helpers of aiding the “Nazi” terrorists by giving them weapons and releasing terrorist killers from prison. According to Israeli law, he said, Olmert, Vice Premier Chaim Ramon, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, and others should be hung for granting assistance to Nazis.

MK Chaim Oron (Meretz) called on the government to ban Chabad activities on IDF bases, while minister Yaakov Edery (Kadima) called for an urgent government session to discuss Rabbi Wolpe’s speech “before a calamity occurs.” Opposition leader MK Binyamin Netanyahu harshly criticized Rabbi Wolpe as well, saying there is no place for violence in a democracy.

WOW! Rabbi Wolpe nails it with a great big hammer - ping! If Billy Jeff could send his henchman over to Israel in the late 90s to sabotage Bibi, then I get to go over and personally vote for Rabbi Wolpe for next P.M. of Israel!

Wolpe is right, they are traitors. He shouldnt have made the hanging comment though, at least publicly....Just red meat for the left to go nuts over.....

I sure did. I wonder how many military men (and women) in private think that Rabbie Wolpe may have something in his assessment, if not actual resolution. I would think Olmerde and his crew's constant indications of shrinking Isarel and giving away more and more of it and Jerusalem would have to undermine the morale of many in the IDF.
