A coalition of leaders on family issues has released a letter warning about what they describe as the deception being assembled around former Massachusetts governor and GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
"Most of us are not allied with any presidential candidate," the letter says. "But we are troubled by the unethical and Orwellian cover-up of Mitt Romney's role in catastrophic events in Massachusetts, once the cradle of American liberty.
"Actions he took as governor were beyond the pale," the letter continued.

The letter cites seven issues seen as problematic in the Romney campaign, including a "phony pro-life 'conversion.'"

Well my immediate problem is that Republicans will nominate a Hick from Hope, that has a son who hangs dogs and carries loaded guns into airports, and the Hick from Hope lobbies for " born again" rapist to be parolled to kill again..cause it gives him a feel good feeling.
From the picks I've seen of Romney's "faith" speech it would appear that daddy Bush is a Mitt supporter as well. They are all Harvard grads.
That said..I knew GW was an honest man from day one, just as I knew immediately, before all the facts were in, that Mitt is just the opposite.
I understand that he fits the usual path of quality candidates...but I can't, in all good conscious, support him.
I feel the same way about President Bush, he is honest , and I know that whatever rumors are spread about him, that there is a reasonable answer, because President Bush is so honest.
I don’t feel that Romney is dishonest, when I see that he is, I will admit it. Romney is an astute business man, that works in a Positive way.
Mitt is only a disaster to Republicans. If he wins the nomination liberals should be jumping for joy since either way they will have a liberal president. U.S. Army Retired |
He is an heir to his own lies..
Uh, that story has already been debunked.
And both Thompson and McCain are more preferable than Oven Mitt.
I suggest reading the Book “You can trust the communists, to be communists”. It tells quite well of communistic tactics similar to those you called Orwellian!
