A couple hours ago someone posted a “I herd on CBS that Fred is dropping out” thread that got nuked pretty fast. Anybody got a screen shot? I just want to see what time it was posted.
I remember that.
I don't know about that, but I did hear it on the CBS radio network news (research ;)) at 7 pm Pacific. The lead story on cbsnews.com now (Iowa caucus) doesn't have that detail.
I did search FR when I got back but didn't find anything--I was sure of finding a well-commented thread already if there'd been a hard source for that allegation. And I wasn't interested in starting a thread based on speculation or worse.
And I did do a search now--I'm not going to link to it, but there's a Politico page that alleges such a dropout.
