Hillary Clinton told an audience that she favors abortion.

It was clearly a Freudian slip, a truth she didn't intend to tell, but at least she admitted it, unlike the other "pro-choicers" who try to convince us that they're against abortion but don't think it should be illegal and that they actually want fewer of them.

B. Hussein Obama voted against an IL law that wanted to ban partial birth abortion.

Worse than that. As Alan Keyes has pointed out, Barack Hussein Obama ("Osama Obama" in Teddy Kennedy's rendering) opposed and helped block a bill in the Illinois State Legislature that would have prohibited the killing of babies accidentally born alive as a result of a botched abortion. He chaired the committee that killed the bill.

Here’s something scary. I was actually babysat by Hillary when I was very small. Her parents were friends of my parents. She babysat me about 5 times. No wonder I have a nervous tick sometimes.

I’m sure Chelsea has heard how unwanted she was, is, a million times... only she knows that ninth circle of Clinton hell.

re: Hill

How can she have volunteer babysitters during the campaign? (I guess it’s good more than a couple didn’t abort)...

Gee remember the days when your children went to see the candidates speak... before they became such a weight and burden? /s

On the 4th day of the Clinton presidency, Jan. 23, the 20th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, Bill Clinton signed, in a televised Oval Office ceremony, a series of executive orders undoing the draconian policies of the Reagan-Bush era relating to abortion, contraception, and family planning.

Hillary had pushed unequivocally for the orders, but Bill's pollster argued that she was dead wrong on the timing of such a hot-button issue; by acting on abortion policy as one of the administration's first pieces of business, the president and, worse, Hillary, would be perceived as governing from the left. But Hillary regarded the prohibitions in question as a powerful symbol of Reagan-era policies, and an opportunity to declare boldly that the Clinton era had begun. There was an additional appeal: it was fiscally neutral, monetarily cost-free, and not subject to a drawn-out legislative process.

Statistics indicate that the vast majority of those who had abortions in the last 30 years were liberal democrats.
Most of those who were killed most probably would have leaned as did their parents.
Since abortion thins the ranks of liberals ya have to think twice about it.

The last thing I’m interested in is defending Her heinous, but the headline is disingenuous. If someone gave a speech condemning pornography as tragic and destructive to families, then later said they didn’t want to ban it, but instead wanted to keep it legal, zone it away from residential areas and ensure it was 100% unavailable to minors, no one would say that meant they were “in favor” of porn. Similarly, Hillary has criticized abortion, and committed herself to lowering the numbers. Now, she’s obviously lying given her record and Bill’s, but a press outlet can’t take one statement and make it into another just because the speaker is not as pure as the driven snow. If one wants to say that Hillary is in favor of abortion, there are plenty of ways to prove it; the quote in this article is not one of them.

Zero degrees in Freeport, Illinois right now. The Weather Channel is calling for 55 degrees on Sunday, I guess that means global warming is just getting a slow start in the new year.

G8, you came up with a great line, but let me add to it:

Legal abortion in America has killed more people than any of the following people and organizations killed:

Imperial Japan
Nazi Germany
Stalin
Mao Zedong
Pol Pot

Note that Pol Pot, though infamous for his cruelty, is *easily* exceeded by abortion. Low estimates of his casualties from genocide are around 1 million, IIRC. That’s 1 year of abortions in U.S. clinics. even if he killed 3 million, that’s about a sixteenth of the people American have killed with legal abortion.

Consider this: In 1995, the Alan Guttmacher Institute (Planned Parenthood’s “research” arm) said there were 26 million legal abortions worldwide. If we take that number (and keep in mind, this is ignoring the approximately 20 million illegal abortions that the Guttmacher people claim happened the same year) that means that it takes less than three years of killing little kids to exceed the death toll of WWII.

“I am in favor of abortion being safe, legal and rare,” she said.

Rare, eh? 1.2 million dead in this country alone every year from "safe" abortions. That's one child slaughtered on average every 26 seconds. Doesn't sound "rare" to me.

I know Obama voted against the Born Alive Act, which would have prevented a form of infaniticide here in Illinois. At one hospital in Chicago (Christ Hospital, if you can believe that!) the medical staff was taking kids who survived late term abortions and leaving them in a side room to die.

The tide is shifting, Hillary. You and all the rest of the kill-em-before-they're-born crowd are losing this battle and you know it. Soon, you will no longer be able to shroud the wholesale murder of innocent babies in the holy cloak of 'women's rights', and people will see through your lies and deceit and revel in the truth that all life is beautiful, especially the life of a baby.

Be bitter, liberal shrew. Be very bitter.
