9/11 did change everything, didn't it?

This is really amazing that so many Freepers, those who agree with FR line supports neocons. From my observations neocons and FR have only one thing in common and this is war in Iraq... Please correct me if I'm wrong. This is so sad that they hijacked GOP, which have a lot in common now with those Christian Democrats from Europe. What is actually a disaster, good that Reagan doesn't need to watch this farce.

“Iraq is a success story”

Yep. Dec 15th 2003. V-I Day. That was a success. We’ve been spinning our wheels since. There is no such thing as a strong stable ally in that region. (Unless you count Israel) Otherwise things can turn on a dime. Like Pakistan, Egypt or Iran. How bout we make them all weak and submissive instead?

Criticism on the issues is one thing, but a lot of what’s been on this site as of late is nothing but smearing, trying to tie him to white supremacists, conspiracy theorists, George Soros, etc.

I agree - the rest of the smears on Paul is just that - disgraceful. But on foreign policy it's uncharted territory even though I personally believe it's much better than the policies we've had for years. But I can understand where they're coming from when they criticize Paul on the war.

No, we haven't. Amazing changes have taken place. You just don't know anything about it because CNN and all that other garbage doesn't ever report it.

There is no such thing as a strong stable ally in that region.

With that attitude, there never would be.

Fortunately, most of us aren't gloom-and-doomers (just the Democrats) and we see the distinct possibilities and subsequent benefits of this.

And it's working now. So much that the gloom-and-doomers are going to have to bury their heads even deeper in the sand in order to ignore it.

Don't suffocate, OK? ;-)

That's all I've ever criticized him on - his war position and his overall foreign policy approach.

I'm glad you have a more sensible attitude than many of the Ron Paul supporters on FR do.

My sleeper cell will finally get a good night’s sleep when Ron Paul is elected. So vote for him, you stupid infidel.

So vote for him you stupid infidel.

I strenuously object to having you classify me as a stupid infidel, but much more so resent the utterly baseless statement without the slightest merit whatsoever that
I in any way support Paul under any circumstances or have the slightest inclination
to vote for him.

I emphatically challenge you to present any comment, reference of support made by me anywhere regarding Paul for President, under any circumstances.

I resent your comments to the utmost.

I apologize for you resenting my comments.

But since you took the second sentence of my post literally I suppose you took the first one literally too. So let me clarify, I do not have a sleeper cell.

"Try something that tells me you are a conservative, if that's possible."

That fact that you are confused about the definition of Conservatism is your problem, not mine.

"Welcome back, Lor. Hope your holidays were good."

Thanks. I got "my kids" a Nintendo Wii, but Dad plays it the most now. It's very addictive.

How was your holidays?

How was your holidays?

They went well. I wish I had kids to blame for my early Christmas present to myself of an XBox 360. I've been racing on Forza 2 like I have no life lately.

I may have to get an XBox too. I love racing sims. I just checked out Forza 2 and can imagine how addictive it must be. I would have to stock up on lots of hot pockets.

I have a mod chip ordered for my Wii, which allows me to run non DRM DVDs. I already have a bunch of titles ready for when I install the chip. One of them is Need For Speed ProStreet, but I prefer racing exotics, like the McLaren F1 LM

"You just don't know anything about it because CNN and all that other garbage doesn't ever report it."

That's an assumption you've made about me and it's wrong. There are over 100,000 sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, husbands and wives in Iraq. With the internet Americans don't have to rely on CNN for news from the region. Plus you are obviously biased.

Plus you are obviously biased.

How so?

And of course, you aren't biased at all. The fact that your god, Ron Paul is anti-war has no bearing on your opinion, does it?

Don't give me that "baised" crap. Come up with something better to support your Code Pink stance.

Yikes! There was once a dream of national literacy, too. Whatever happened to that?

Hey, why are bleeding heart types always apologizing for our nation? Clinton did that all the time, too.
