My 1st wife was great until she decided to trade me for a newer model and try to keep Everything. My 2nd wife passed 3 years ago from breast cancer after 2 years together. I'd be very happy to be struck by lightning a 3rd time but don't think it will ever happen again. Not all women are evil. And I don't think it's wrong for a man to consult his wife about things that could affect them both. The big thing is to choose wisely when you choose.

Marriage is a matter of making a good choice on both sides..... Personnally, I’d rather be struck by lightening (in the bathtub even) than to ever get married again. But that was my mistake, and I wear it on my own shoulders.
From what I’ve seen (granted I know nothing about a healthy sane marriage) those that are good are those that act like best friends first and well, talk to each other about what is going on etc.
But what do I know? :)
