Raila Odinga has said he is a cousin of US presidential hopeful Barack Obama
The significance of this revelation is that Odinga entered into a "Memorandum of Understanding," dated and signed on August 29, 2007, between Raila Odinga and Shiekh Abdullah Abdi, chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum of Kenya, that would turn Kenya into an Islamic state upon Odinga's victory in the presidential election on 12/27.
When Odinga lost, he immediately claimed foul and the riots commenced - - at least one Christian church was burned to the ground with its parishoners inside.
