How would that be, both very successful?
Huck was riding a surge in early December. Since then, he has apologized to Pakistan for killing Bhutto, tried to get the new media, and even the old media, to run an anti-Romney ad for him for free while he claims that he’s not going negative, and then holds a tupperware party.
Pretty amazing stuff.
There are only two candidates left that I can stand. The only two really speaking about issues. The two that have decided not to try out for the circus.
Fred and Hunter. Maybe more people will get their head out of their behinds and see we need a serious candidate.
Years ago, my wife’s boss wrangled her and me to an Amway presentation. Their catalog showed a computer that commonly sold for about $1200 for the modest price of $6000. A real deal.
Amazing. “Vote for me and lose all your friends! Who cares if everybody hates you, I’ll be President!”
Everyday I think that Huckabee can’t sink any lower. And then he does.
This is going to cost him at least half the votes in that room.
He said that his recruiter showed him how he could recruit others and he would make money (The math they show is that if you buy all of your own household goods through their program, and those under you did the same, you would make the bonuses)
I gave him a challenge. I signed up for Amway under him and asked him to keep track of the money he made for a year. Then I busted my butt about 10 hours a week selling their laundry detergent and household cleaners (which are very good products). I never hid the Amway name, I never asked anyone to consider selling, I just sold the products.
I made about $100 a month that year selling Amway soap and cleaners. He lost money.
Some of their soap products are great, I still use them.
Almost all of their catalog products are a rip off.
Their methodology and recruiting schemes are reprehensible and unethical.
To make $100/month?
Maybe $2.50 an hour bought something back then.
Lol, didn’t say it was a good job, or even a reasonable job, but I made $1200 in that year compared to him losing a couple of hundred. And honestly, the last six months I didn’t even work it hardly at all, most of those who had bought from me before, came back for more product. So, if I had continued to work 10 hours a week, I probably could have made a decent hourly wage within a few years.
And that was my point, you could make a little side money selling the stuff, but it wasn’t going to make you any money unless you actually sold it.
Quixtar? Wasn’t that the name of one of the Ferengis on Deep Space Nine?
You made your point, but I’m not sure I would have made it for a whole dang year.
Multi-level marketing is a scam, as you well know. The folks at the bottom do all the work and get little reward. The folks at the top reap all the benefits.
And the people in the middle just get screwed.
You gotta dream big.
Don’t let anybody steal your dream.
My way, your way we all scream for Amway.
Any Amway distributors here? Or are they all out showing the plan?
