I think both Parties are pretty much trash. I vote GOP because they are the Lesser of Evils. However, I have no illusions about most Republican elected officials.

Me too. Politicians are snake-oil salesmen. They run governments, and governments are necessary evils--and the bigger the government the greater the evil. It's to the advantage of these snake-oil salesmen to keep increasing the size, reach, appetite, and power of government--and consequently its evil--because this increases their power. They use this power to parasitize the governed. Only a moron, a masochist, or a fellow-sociopath would want to empower these snake-oil salesmen.

However, there's a big difference between the Republicans and the Democrats. The Democrats are light-years worse!

I'm a one-issue voter: Defeat the Democrats.
