I registered Republican SOLELY to vote for Fred Thompson in the primaries.
That’s fine. That’s certainly your prerogative. The likely fact remains that Fred will finish 3rd or 4th in IA and perhaps 5th or 6th in NH, dooming his campaign. He honestly blew it; his golden opportunity came and went, and he has no one but himself to blame. He looks like he’d rather be doing ANYTHING but campaigning to be the next President of the U.S.
Well he is not going to win. He is not willing to work hard enough to win. He is like many people who have worked on TV. They are so used to having their butts kissed and eveything done for them, that in the hard work of runing a campaign they are totally lost.
Reagan was an exception because he has spent two terms as president of Screen Actors Union. He had to run a large operation and do it well enough to get elected President of the Union twice. In the Screen actors Union the movie companies pay their actors by paying the money to the Union. The union then cuts the checks to the actors. Running the Screen actors union and negotiating contracts is no easy job.
But Fred has never done much except be pampered by his Senate staffers and Hollyword employers. It shows in his lack of drive to get a hard job done.
Hillary would eat his butt for breakfast and he would not miss it until noon.
