As far as I have seen, Romney is the only candidate who not only has put in the time required in the early states but has specifically asked Iowans and New Hampshirites for their votes. Internet fundraising and videos YouTube are not sufficient to win an election. You still have to go out and pound the pavement, work hard, show the people you are in it to win and, as corny as it may sound, you need to personally ask for their votes. The Internet is a great tool but it can't be your main focus. No war has ever been won solely by airpower. True victory requires troops on the ground and the Romney campaign clearly sees this.

This explains why Mitt is so vilified on FR. Optimistic and a Closer? An intelligent and accomplished businessman? Good hair and a great speaking voice? Many around here are determined that the Republican Party will not be a big tent to encompass the breadth of this nation, and if it means losing the best candidate that we have had in years, so be it.

Wouldn’t you feel more comfortable with people whose vocabulary matches your own? Like the self-righteous illiterates over at DU who use vulgarity as punctuation.

I think we would all feel more comfortable when you stop using that insulting photo of Romney standing under the Great Ronald Reagan . Sickening ...
Better yet , keep using it , it’s an awesome contrast between a flip-flopping Liberal and a real Conservative ....

That’s what they mean. Look how big that tent was that Joe Isuzu Romney built in Massachusetts. In 2002, the state GOP could caucus in a phone booth. Today, they could caucus in a teacup with room to spare.
As you can see in my post above, you’ll see what he’ll do the national GOP. It’s gonna make Hiroshima look like a family picnic.

Kinda reminds me of Bill Clinton's "Bridge to the Future" theme. Just another example of how Mitt is so much like Bill Clinton...save the wondering libido. Can't help but think Romney could be given the nickname der Schictmeister also.

Well, Joe Isuzu Romney is a bit of a one-note liberal singing a false Conservative tune.

My My, how the rhetoric and foul language heats up the better Romney does. If Mitt takes Iowa and/or NH, what should we expect from you then?

Man, Romney a good candidate, the best in years? I don’t see it at all. He is so full of $hit that it makes my eyes cross when I hear him speak.
