Hunter is undoubtedly the only one that fits the bill that conservatives are looking for - socially, morally, on fiscal, home security and the war on terror. And that’s why he doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in Hell to get the nomination.

I disagree. I think Duncan has two major problems:
1. He comes across as a “grouch.” Voters usually prefer a sunnier, more optimistic persona. The last “grouch President” was Nixon — and I’m sure you’ll remember what happened to him: Not good!
2. Duncan’s main service, post military, has been in the House of Representatives. IIRC, the U. S. electorate has given the POTUS slot only once to a sitting House member. The latter was Rutherford B. Hayes — and just look at how his Presidency turned out: Also not good.
