TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A 23-year-old Mexican woman with three American-born children, including one just three weeks old, will return voluntarily to Mexico after what supporters call a harrowing experience with authorities during a traffic stop.

Miriam Aviles-Reyes, an illegal immigrant, and the human rights group Derechos Humanos say a Tucson police officer was abusive and called the Border Patrol without necessary cause.

You liberal.

I've been exposed !!! 10 plus years as Freeper and I'm finally found out as a liberal troll < /s>

Actually, I was thinking more along the lines to deport them together and it would be harder to come back across the border as a family with a an infant

I hope she suffers greatly.

That's a pretty ugly remark.

She certainly needs to sent back to Mexico ASAP, as well as all illegals whereever they come from.

I don't understand why you would want her to suffer greatly. Yes she committed a crime crossing the border, but the penalty making her live in a third world crap hole like Mexico is suffering enough

How?

That is where she is from. No particular fault of mine where she was born.

They must have both had good paying jobs in order to take care of their children and not sponge off the U.S. taxpayers.

The article doesn't say anything about them not being on welfare, not taking food stamps, paying for their own health care including the delivery of the baby, or sending their children to our schools - all of which are funded by tax-paying Americans.

Did you find this info elsewhere?

Woo Hoo! Talk about the best news to hear for the New Year. Now, can we get about 30 million more to head south?

pulled a pickup truck over on Dec. 9 after what Lt. Vicki Reza termed a random license plate check.

The check showed that insurance on the vehicle was suspended, and when the driver, Gustavo Reyes, could not produce a valid driver’s license and the officer had difficulty communicating with him or his pregnant wife and children inside the truck, Kneup called the Border Patrol, Reza said.

Reyes was issued a civil citation for not having a valid driver’s license, auto insurance and for not having his 3-year-old son in car-seat restraints.

I don’t believe nothing until she’s over the border and out of America. Along with her three phony US citizen children

But it seems like a good start
Where’s dad?
How much US welfare were these intruders getting via their US born offspring?

Immigration attorney Maurice Goldman tried unsuccessfully to get Aviles-Reyes' voluntary departure extended beyond 20 days until her baby, born jaundiced and with some other problems, has had all his wellness checks.

Yes, but the kids are American citizens and can and should come back when they’re older.

No, they are not. I am sure you have seen all the arguments against this.

I’ve seen all the arguments against it, but I see the law as it is. They are American citizens, even if the law is changed (no ex post facto laws). Sorry, but the law isn’t what we want it to be, and the only way the Courts are going to accept this is if someone tries denying citizen to a U.S.-born child born of illegal immigrants (cases and controversies).

There is no actual law. It was an interpretation of a clause in the Constitution that gave us this horrific standard. I guess you haven't seen all the arguements against it. Maybe others can point you to it. I seem to have lost the links to anchor baby discussions.

Glad she loves her kids enough to take them with her rather than leave them behind as a pawn in an agenda like Elvira Whatshername.

They should think of their taxpayer funded trip to Mexico as a vacation. They’ll be back in the US within a month.

Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) has introduced a comprehensive immigration reform bill (S. 1351) that includes a provision that would limit citizenship to those whose mothers are United States citizens or legal permanent residents. However, Senator Reid's proposal is to amend only the Immigration and Nationality Act, not the Constitution. Additionally, Senator Alan Simpson (R-WY) is planning to propose an immigration reform package that will include a provision similar to that of Senator Reid's. Whether or not Senator Simpson's recommendation will limit the right to citizenship to only those whose mothers are citizens or legal residents remains to be seen.

Gee, I wonder how Reid feels about it now?
