I finished it last night, and the most infuriating thing about it is that for the last 5 years we've been told that Bush politicized government and politicized intelligence and smeared political opponents and jeopardized national security for partisan purposes, whereas the fact is that it was Bush's bureaucratic and media OPPONENTS - working hand-in-glove - who were doing all of those things, over and over.

All of those people in FR who say the dinosaur media are dead, have issued premature obits. The MSM have been pummelling Bush since before he took office. And, despite their claims that Bush is a nasty payback artist, his responses to those smears and leaks - if they occur at all - are too little, too late, so all the anti-Bush criticisms stick.
