Right. It is an academic, abstract, artistic rendering, portraying deep philosophical mysteries.
Such as, "Often the correct solution may be the simplest and cheapest one".
This is artistically portrayed by the seemingly sharp and square end of the object, which later merges smoothly to the rounded end. Note the Artist's use of warm tungsten colors, and the oblique lighting. The warm tones lighten the otherwise sharp and harsh content, rending the message homely and sweet, rather than threatening.
The fact that the content is entirely correct does not lessen the warm feelings portrayed by The Artist.
Purely academic, of course.
