Well, if we know where they are, they won’t have long to wait until they meet Allah.

Given al Qaeda’s reduced footprint, a few daisy cutters ought to put an end to them.

The key is to sustain the Awakening movements and help Iraqi security forces get assets in place so they can prevent Al Qaeda from regenerating into a real threat. This has to be done if the gains from The Surge are to be strengthened and expanded for the future.

I heard Bill Roggio today on WRKO AM680 Boston and he made a great argument on the incredible enhancements of the situation in Iraq. Now regarding Diyala being a “safe heaven” for AL Qaeda I think that is overestimating their power there, they may have the strongest presence in Diyala but I doubt it is a “safe heaven”, Al Qaeda in Iraq is defeated.

Ping for the Merry Band of Patriots troop support group.
Our adopted Stryker brigade is at Baqubah in Diyala province.
Scroll to “Baqubah in the crosshairs” section of the article.
We’ll be sending them care packages for Valentine’s Day. Let me know if you can send one, or a Thank You or Valentine card for our troops.
We also have a fighting unit on the Pakistan border of Afghanistan who can use survival foods and winter gear.
And there are also units at Balad, Iraq, and two in Baghdad. Our unit at Bagram air field near Kabul, Afghanistan, will be changing the guard.

This month is only the second time we have had fatalities in the 20s. Amen.
Now is the time to push for a more secular Iraqi constitution. No more of this NO LAW SHALL CONTRADICT ISLAM CRAP.
And let the Iraqis clean out these AQ pockets. We need to concentrate on Iran now.

If the enemy is concentrated in one place, so should we be along with our Iraqi allies. Then we arrange their meeting with Allah and finish this war.
