I thought Huckabee did great on Meet the Press. I was embarrassed by what I’d read about his post-Bhutto assassination remarks, but he’s redeemed himself in my eyes.

Just the opposite. What Huckabee promotes is essentially amnesty. This is just the warmed over Pence touchback plan that was a scam. Under Huckabee's plan, the illegals go back to their country for a few days or weeks and come back to the US under an authorized legal status, i.e., amnesty. This would be a disaster for the US. Not only would the status of the 12 to 20 million illegal aliens be legalized, it would also permit them to sponsor their childern, spouses, aged parents, brothers, etc. thru chain migration, which would add an additional 66 million legal immigrants over the next 20 years. Huckabee is a Huckster.

You’ve been suckered. His immigration plan is for everyone to leave...and then return within days on a path to citizenship. He explained this on “This Week” a while back. He doesn’t put it on his website.
