Arabic-speaking Christians use the name Allah to refer to the God they worship, and have for almost 1500 years. For all I know, they did the same before the time of Mohammed.
Are you sure? Couldn’t have been “poobah”? Maybe it’s “Tra la”, or “Haha”? Maybe it is “Simbah”, you know like in the Lion King.
