Forgive me if I'm a little bit skeptical when it comes to Luther quotes without primary source documents and/or contemporaneous citation. I've heard more than a few misquotes attributed to Dr. Luther, making him out to be slightly less than the Devil himself.

As far as contraception goes (in principle), I believe you're right.
