This is the basic premise of 9/11 truthers too.. There’s no such thing as terrorists, it’s all a boogeyman to keep the masses scared so Bush can run roughshod on us all.

AQ doesn't exist, 9/11 was an inside job, the threat from Islamists is way overblown (if Islamists even exist at all), Israel and America are the greatest threats to world peace, the U.S. military routinely kills and tortures Iraqi women and children in the dead of night, Bush is going to cancel the '08 election and become a permanent dictator, etc.
These are just a few of the talking points of Pravda, many Ron Paul supporters, and the looney left (many of whom are senators and congressmen).
