cold hands trying to type!

I gave up posting those typo corrections a long time ago. I figured that usually most people can tell what I was trying to say and correct the error (mentally) on their own. That's what happened when I read your post. And I didn't even think you made a Freudian slip.

I’m no big fan of McCain, but look. He had a tumor removed from his face IIRC, and that can cause nerve damage. Heck, having a tooth pulled can cause it. Not to mention he’s old, and skin stretches and can cause that look. My mom had eye lift surgery when she was 75 because of it and I am not quite 50 and I have facial bags and I’ll probably do the same thing for mine some day soon. For me, because I don’t like the look and it makes me feel old and I’m not ready to be old.

But to each his own. If McCain is satisfied with his appearance so what? There is nothing here to indicate poor health.

Any person that has had malignant melanoma better have some concerns about their longevity.

My husband was over 10 years out from having malignant melanoma. It returned with a vengeance and he is now gone.

I am so sorry for you and your husband. Sounds like you pretty much have things as well under control as possible.

I noticed that he blinked his eyes a lot during an interview yesterday and his left eye looks smaller than his right eye.

I don't think there is anything wrong with his eyes. As we get older our brows droop. Looks like the right brow has drooped a lot less than the left one. This makes the right eye appear a bit larger than the left.

The blinking was probably fatigue. In theory it could have been nerves but given that he has long loved the media spotlight, it's hard to believe he was nervous.

Ditto. Also, McCain is determined to support illegal aliens. He brings to mind the Manchurian Candidate.

I’m not a McCain fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I’ve seen these same words several times today in other forums and in emails. It seems pretty clear to me it’s part of some sort of organized attack on McCain. If so, it stinks.

Here is a McCain / Parkinson's repost.

Morris Udall was a long time Representative from Arizona. He ran for the Democratic nomination for President against Jimmy Carter in 1976. Genial and witty, he was an ardent environmentalist and unabashedly liberal.

Udall developed Parkinson's disease and was forced to resign from Congress in 1991. Debilitated, he was confined to a hospital bed in Washington, DC. For seven long years until his death he lay there forgotten by all of his former colleagues, constituants, allies, friends and admirers. Except for one.

Parkinson's is not a pretty disease. It makes you uncomfortable to be around. You don't know how to act, you don't know what to say. But for all those years there was one visitor that Mo Udall could count on. Rain or shine, political firestorms aside, there was one man who would show up every week to sit and visit with his old friend. That man was John McCain.

Eight years ago, I didn't believe that he would live to see this election. Obviously, I was wrong. In some of the debates, I've thought that he looked bad, but his appearance doesn't change my vote. We should vote against him because he's wrong on too many political issues and not because of his health. If he is nominated, there will be a spirited fight over the vice-presidential selection, but that fight would happen with any nominee of his age.

old post, don’t know if anybody will see this now...

McCain looks very unhealthy... his jaw is swollen out in a lump.

Cancer? Cancer treatment? If his cancer has not been compleely cured, he should not be running.
