This initiative was supported by the NRA and firecely opposed by the GOA.

It would essentially allow a health care provider to deem a person a risk and strip them of their 2nd amendment rights. There would be very little due process or possibility of appeal.

yeah, the NRA supports it because there’s a bunch of good things in it. NRA seems to willing to compromise.
